The UK Government has recognised the AIQI Consortium as a key international partner in its Trusted Third-Party AI Assurance Roadmap, unveiled last week by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). AIQI Member Spotlight -The Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated
The Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (The Cooperation) is the new international organisation formed by the merger of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), two key global authorities in accreditation. Together, they have long championed the global recognition of accredited conformity assessment results across industries and governments. Registered in New Zealand in December 2024, The Cooperation is set to officially launch in January 2026, unifying the missions of ILAC and IAF. It supports the AIQI Consortium’s mission to develop ethical AI standards and encourages its members to engage actively in AIQI initiatives.
