Founded in 2023 by leading TÜV organisations, the TÜV AI.Lab is a joint venture dedicated to advancing safe and trustworthy AI. By developing quantifiable conformity criteria, practical test methods, and contributing to international standards, the Lab plays a pivotal role in translating AI regulations such as the EU AI Act into real-world assurance frameworks. Through tools like the AI Act Risk Navigator and the TÜV AI Assessment Matrix, it supports a harmonised, cross-sectoral approach to global AI assessment and certification.
